Product Overview

AuMi Laboratory Power Supply Units provide a clean, stable 12 V DC output for bench testing of embedded control units, motor drive circuits, sensor modules, and general electronics prototypes. Built on a linear regulation stage (or SMPS + LDO hybrid for higher current models) with front-panel current limiting and clear digital metering, these units are engineered to meet the needs of professional electronics and power electronics laboratories.

Design Approach

The 12 V PSU line spans three variants: a compact 5 A linear model for sensitive low-noise bench work (ideal for RF, audio, and analog prototyping), a 10 A SMPS+LDO hybrid for mixed-signal and digital systems, and a 20 A high-current unit for motor drive and power electronics lab bring-up — matching the test bench needs of AuMi's own inverter, BMS, and MCU development work.

All models feature front-panel constant-current (CC) and constant-voltage (CV) adjustment with a rotary encoder, backlit digital display showing simultaneous voltage and current readout, and a binding-post output with 4-mm banana terminals and a ground lug.

Key Features

CC / CV Control

Precision rotary encoder for setting constant voltage and current limits — locks smoothly at setpoint without overshoot.

Digital Readout

Simultaneous V and A display on backlit LCD — shows actual output values, not setpoints, for accurate monitoring.

Ultra-Low Ripple

Linear models deliver sub-1 mV rms noise — essential for noise-sensitive ADC, RF, and audio test work.

Full Protections

Over-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and reverse polarity guard on all output terminals.

Lab-Ready Terminals

4 mm binding-post output terminals with floating GND lug — compatible with standard laboratory probe leads and power cables.

Thermal Management

Temperature-controlled cooling fan on 10 A and 20 A models keeps noise minimal at light loads and cools automatically under full load.

Common Specifications

All PSU-12V series share these baseline electrical and safety parameters.
